No Price is shown for an item I added to my cart
Many items fall under a manufacturer's advertising price policy. We can and do sell many of these items at prices lower than we are permitted by the manufacturer to publicly advertise however we are only permitted by the manufacturers to provide our best maximum discount prices for these items online to registered (logged-in) users. An Online Account is not required to receive our Maximum Discount Price for these items over the phone or in person.

If you are NOT LOGGED-IN, these items will add to your cart at a
Quantity of '0' and "Price Alert" will appear instead of a price for the item. The following message will also appear below the item in your cart:

I Can't Log-In or add items to my cart
Check your browser's COOKIES setting. In order to log-in and/or add items to your cart, your browser must be set to accept Cookies. Please note that the web address of our shopping cart is www.cart-northernsound.net and that this is the secure server that provides your browser the Cookie necessary to shop on our site.
 
What is a Cookie?
A Cookie is a very small text file placed on your hard drive by a web page server. It is essentially your identification card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. Cookies are unique and can only be read by the server that provided it. 
 
What information is stored in the Cookie?
The Cookie provided to your browser from our web server, www.cart-northernsound.net, contains your basic log-in information and most importantly the items that you have added to your cart. It does not contain any sensitive account information such as credit card numbers.
 
How to adjust your browser to accept Cookies

Step #1) click on "Tools"

Items I've added to my cart have disappeared without me removing them
Possible Reason #1:
The Cookie our web server provides to your browser has a session time limit of (60) minutes. After this time, all items in your cart will be removed and you will be logged out. Simply log back in and/or re-add the items to your cart.

Possible Reason #2:
If you are not logged-in and the item adds to your cart at a Quantity of "0" and "Price Alert" appears instead of a price, you must first change the quantity to a value greater than "0" and then click "Update Cart" in order for the item to remain in your cart. If you do not change the quantity, the item will be removed from your cart when you click on "Update Cart" or "Continue Shopping".

NAVIGATION
Your browser must allow new Windows or Tabs to open and close. Our Shopping is designed to open and close windows/tabs in your browser, they are not pop-ups. Most browsers should normally permit our "add to cart" links to open a new window or tab even if your Pop-Up blocker is on. There have been reports however, that some versions of FIREFOX may have additional features that block this action. Please check your settings or try another browser such as Internet Explorer.
 
THE CART WILL OPEN A NEW WINDOW or TAB Every Time You...
a) ADD AN ITEM

b) VIEW YOUR CART

c) LOG-IN
 
FOR BEST NAVIGATION, follow the screen prompts. Once in the new cart window, allow the "Continue Shopping" button to close the cart's window or close the window manually to return to shopping. When the cart's window closes, you will be returned to the exact place on the exact products page that you last added an item to your cart from. Your browser will remember your log-in information and all the items that you have added to your cart. The next time you add an item or View your cart, the new cart window that opens will contain your new item along with all items you've previously added. PLEASE AVOID switching back and forth between the open products window and an open shopping cart window. By not closing or allowing the cart window to close, you will end up with multiple cart windows open at the same time which can become very confusing.

Check Out Steps
* To cancel the Check Out process at any time, simply close the shopping cart window.
 
a) Go to your shopping cart
If you are not already in the shopping cart window, click on 'VIEW CART' from our main website to open the shopping cart window.
 
b) Enter your Shipping Address Zip Code:
Enter the zip code of your shipping address, then click 'UPDATE CART'.
GROUND SHIPPING will show as the default. You can now use the pull down Shipping Service box to select an expedited shipping service.
If you have changed the shipping service, click 'UPDATE CART' once again, then  
click on 'CHECK OUT'.
* If you are logged-in, the box for your shipping address zip code should already be filled in
 
The cart will now take you to the  page titled:
c) "Check Out - Enter/Edit Billing, Shipping & Payment Info (Step 1 of 3)"


After entering or editing your Billing, Shipping & Payment information,
Check the box titled: "I have read and agree to the NSL Terms of Sale & Return Policy" to activate the 'Continue to Checkout' button then click it to continue.

 
The cart will now take you to the page titled:
d) "Check Out / Review your information (Step 2 of 3)"

Carefully review your order. Please note that if your order is shipping "Common Carrier Freight", the freight charges most likely have changed due to freight delivery options you may have selected on the previous page.
e) To complete your order, click on 'CHECKOUT-FINALIZE ORDER'
Your order will now be processed and the cart will take you to the page titled:
"Checkout Completed (Step 3 of 3)"

This page will contain your order confirmation number. Please print this page for your records.
The cart will also send a copy of your order to the email address you provided at check out. You should receive this email shortly after completing the check out process. YOU WILL ALSO RECEIVE a second email order confirmation when your order is received in house and is processed during normal business hours.
Your order WAS NOT successfully processed IF...
a) The "Checkout Completed (Step 3 of 3)" page does not display an order confirmation number.
b) The "Checkout Completed (Step 3 of 3)" page displays: "There was a problem submitting your order"
c) You do not receive an auto generated copy of your order via email shorty after placing your order.
